Malta Gaming Authority

Established in 2001, the Malta Gaming Authority (MGA) is Malta’s official gambling regulatory body. The organisation is regarded globally by casinos and gaming operators as one of the European Union’s top gaming licensors, as well as the jurisdiction for safe and fair gambling for bettors.

Working together with the Government of Malta, the MGA ensures that all licensed gaming operators uphold the rule of law found in the many gaming regulations set by the Maltese government, including anti-money laundering regulations.

As the leading hub in the European Union for the issuance of a Malta gaming license, the MGA strives to lead the global iGaming industry to a secure, safe, and innovative future that is free from corruption, criminal activity, and fraud.
